The close proximity that the city had with an ancient marble quarry, enable the people living there to create a settlement characterized by upgraded aesthetics. Especially during the Roman period, Aphrodisias was full of beautiful marble sculptures. During your time there, you will have the opportunity to walk around this ancient city and unfold its history. More precisely, you will be able to observe the ancient agora, roman baths, the temple of Aphrodite, the theatre, the stadium and many more. In what regards the sculptures, some of them are still there while other are exhibited in the museum of Aphrodisias.
